How Big is the Design?

The default overall size is about 36 inches long by 12 inches tall. Individually, the train pieces are approximately:

  • Engine: 6.5" wide x 5.5" tall
  • Cars: 5.25" wide x 3.5" tall
  • Steam Puffs: multiple sizes up to 6" wide x 3" tall

*The SVG file can be resized in Cricut design space.

  • Layered Train SVG file with 1 engine, 4 train cars, connectors, and 4 steam puffs
  • Printable Color PDF file for cutting by hand
  • Black and white PDF file to use as a template on cardstock or other paper
  • Printable + video instructions for using the file.

How It Works

  1. Complete the checkout process by clicking Add to Cart and then clicking the Check Out button.
  2. You will then be sent TWO emails. First is an order confirmation, and shortly after that you will receive an email with a download link. It is highly recommended that you download from a laptop or PC. If you attempt to download on a mobile device, you may run into some trouble.
  3. Download the zip file and then uncompress using whichever method works for your computer.  
  4. Create your train decorations according to the instructions provided.

So cute!

I saw this and had to recreate it for my sons’s train themed 4th birthday! The instructions were super easy to follow, a great deal for the price and loved the colored patterns - made things much simpler! Thanks so much for helping this non-crafty, trying to DIY birthday decor mom!

PDF file missing the train engine

Its very easy to follow and make. Loved the colour combinations for the train cars. Only one annoying thing that the Pdf file does not includes the train engine in color. Engine is there in black and white but the colored print is missing. 4 stars just beacaue of the missing engine
